"A DAY AT THE RANCH"

Wake each morning to the rich aroma of bacon and eggs, flapjacks, and our famous "Cowboy Coffee."  You won't go hungry here!!! All meals are served family style, all you can eat. Miss a meal and the days invigorating activities will leave "your belly button rubbing sores on you backbone". Each day provides you with a new and exciting experience. Ride the secluded trails of the Cimarron country. (Many pilgrims ask, where does the name Cimarron come from. Well legend has that a couple of flat land cowpokes stopped along the trail to cook up a pot of beans. After several hours of cooking in the high altitude their beans were still hard, so they left them to "simmer on". The Cimarron country has provided the back drop for many a good ole western movie, True Grit and Paint Your Wagon, to name a few.  Depending on the days activities lunches may be on the trail. Each evening  will bring the best western cuisine in the Rockies, with a sunset that no artist could duplicate. We will end the day with the crackling sparkling glow of a campfire under natures blanket of stars philosophizing  about the day's adventures.

All of our stock is well broke and matched to the riders experience. Most returning guests can't wait to see and get acquainted again with their old friends. Will Rodger once said 'that there's nothing better for the inside of a man than the outside of a horse" we tend to agree and one trip out west and we're sure you will to. Find yourself hidden in the edge of the majestic San Juan's, with breathtaking vistas reaching across to Dallas Divide and beyond. Scenery and wildlife abound! Wake up and have breakfast with one of the neighboring mule deer, sneak down to the lake and catch a rising rainbow trout, or just put your feet up on the deck and enjoy the views. Although less than an hour from town, you can find complete privacy, except for the abundant wildlife and herd of horses that call this ranch home.
