Outfitter Information
Action Adventures is a licensed (#660), bonded, insured Colorado Outfitter. We are permitted under a special use permit by the USDA Forest Service to operate in the Uncompahgre Wilderness Area. Action Adventures has been providing quality service to its clients since its inception in the early 80's. Great care is taken to see that your trip is a success, whether it be a fully guided elk hunt or a remote drop camp. We settle for no less than your complete satisfaction! If you are happy with your trip tell everyone, if for some reason you are not tell us first.
We offer hunts in a limited license unit for elk and deer. We also have private land hunts and wilderness hunts in a guaranteed license unit for elk. All mule deer licenses will again be by draw. Application deadline is April 1.
We respect the privacy of our past clients so we do not publish any reference names on our web site or in our brochure. We will be more than happy to furnish references to anyone that is seriously considering our services. - 3rd Combined November 5 - 13
- 4th Combined November 13 - 20
FIRST and FORTH RIFLE SEASONS ARE ELK ONLY
A Hunters Safety Card is required if you were born after January 1, 1949.
Rifle and Muzzleloader hunters are required to wear 500 square inches of Blaze Orange.
Reservations
A 50% deposit is required to reserve a hunt or summer vacation. Deposits are Non-refundable unless your hunt or vacation can be re-booked. A 15% fee will be assessed to any returned deposits. Upon receiving your deposit you will be supplied with contracts, and checklists of what to bring. Due to a high clientele return each year we have limited openings. Booking early is important.
